Our meetings follow the ASCA (Adult Survivors of Child Abuse) format (www.ascasupport.org). This is a peer-to-peer support group for men who have been sexually abused. This group is for non-perpetrators. It is facilitated by volunteer facilitators (not by a therapist). The meeting follows a structured format. The group has been in existence for approx. 8 years. This is not a twelve-step group. This group is a safe place to talk confidentially about being sexually abused. It aims to provide healing support to men who were sexually abused by allowing them to talk with other men who were also abused.
